I want to believe! France : after Charlie...

I WANT TO BELIEVE!
Even if the gatherings of yesterday were not really in the spirit of "Charlie", they showed the most beautiful in France : free and brave democratic spirit.

I WANT TO BELIEVE!

Because I'm proud and grateful to live in a country where a journal like Charlie Hebdo can speak freely -until now- even though I do not share all their views.

I WANT TO BELIEVE!
Because there is an unexpected melting pot in our country, where journalists, artists, police, Muslims, Jews and so French colorful moaners parade in the name of freedom.

I WANT TO BELIEVE!
Because this drama happens to shake a France, sick from herself, who delighted for months in suffering which was not justified.

I WANT TO BELIEVE!
Because, shit! We are the country of Human Rights and the whole world is watching at us and expects us to set the tone of democracy.

I WANT TO BELIEVE!
Because I believe that from the worst the best may born.

So now roll up our sleeves because there is work to defend our values, especially to rehabilitate them and to cease to find them "tacky"!

It is time to bring up to date - concretely - the values of courage, loyalty, generosity, solidarity, the meaning of work, the respect for one's word, enthusiasm, gratitude and joie-de-vivre!

I WANT TO BELIEVE!
Because as long as we are alive we can love.
